OH, WHATEVER
Here is George Soros responding to the criticisms of his announced contributions to this years political process. (I guess it's just my day to go off topic.) You'll note he's toned down the explicitly partisan language fairly substantially. But the case he makes remains unpersuasive: he may not be buying or even attempting to buy influence with a particular candidate (although throwing around that kind of scratch is bound to buy some serious graditude, don't you think?) but he certainly is able to influence the political process far more than any individual, even a so-called "bundler" could ever hope to do. And that's what people find disturbing.
