UH, OOPS
Yeah, I still haven't done today's Times, the bulk of the Post, the President's just concluded speech to troops, or yesterday's New York Times editorial on the al Queda/Saddam connection. I swear, I'm honestly unsure how I'm less able to stay on top of things now that I'm not teaching, but somehow I just can't seem to get through two newspapers in a day plus all the reading I had planned. Maybe it's because I'd assumed over the summer I could catch up on two years of reading but new books keep coming in. Maybe it's because without my intending it my style seems to have changed, and individual posts seem to take a bit longer to conclude.
But I digress. My point is I have a running list of what I want to get done today, can't do it in one sitting, so, keep checking back, and hopefully slowly but surely a few hours from now, stuff will start to pop up.

It's your blog to do with as you wish.....but, you DID bring up the topic of loooonger than planned essays. Not complaining, just commenting.

Paul Johnson has been beheaded. His killers have all the
coverage that they could desire. If the coverage could
be cut down would that particular abomination cease?
