Well, If It's Confirmed by the Times, It's Confirmed

The Times not only confirms that the lack of applause for the President's speech was the result of instructions given to the military audience, David Sanger even casts doubt on the story that the one time they broke the applause was started by a White House staffer. David Sanger just wrote, and the Times published, an utterly unnecessary story that works in the President's favor. Mark the day and time.
