That must be why ABC and CBS both led their newscasts last night with the steroid scandal in baseball. I mean, give too much attention to the terrorism investigation in London -- much less go back to covering the war in Iraq too soon -- and the terrorists win, right?
In fact, not one of the networks, that I saw, covered Iraq before the first commercial break (which means none of them covered it with a full package, as opposed to a network anchor reading a few lines of copy, which it's possible for me to miss.) And only NBC updated London before the first commercial.
The terrorist attack in Egypt, you'll notice, is just . . . gone.
Honestly, steroids in baseball? Is that really even news?
