Should something be covered other than spot news?
How about overall progress of the country, and opinion polls, something that get reported at the drop of a hat when it's Americans being polled, but that the media have almost never seemed interested in when it was Iraqis being polled -- Jason van Steenwyk breaks down all the numbers.
