Why Would MSNBC Try to Make Kofi Annan Make Good -- At the Press's Expense?

Earlier today MSNBC aired footage of Kofi Annan going after a member of the UN press corps, telling him he was an "embarrassment," and that he had been acting like a "schoolboy." The hapless reporter tried to get Annan to answer his question one last time, but to no avail.

MS cut the footage in such a way that we never saw what the original question was, however, that set Annan off so.

I have to say that I immediately thought something was fishy. That reporter asked a question that pushed Annan's buttons that badly, I wanted to know what that question was -- but MS only shows the reporter being rebuked? So their footage is slanted inevitably to take Annan's side because you never see what the reporter actually did. Which only made me want to know exactly what the reporter did.

I may slam the press, but if it's between the press and ole Kofi, well, I want to know before I make a decision on that one.

Hey. I saw on another blog a note from a soldier in Iraq. On election day he was coming off shift and watching CNN. The video running while the 12/15 elections are being reported are from the year-ago Janaury elections. This brings me to the constant use of old footage on all the channels including FOX. How many times do we see the squad of armed soldier walking up the same street with the white compact car, or the humvee launching the Tow missle. This is done on purpose absolutely to continue the perception that the country is at war, is a war zone. It totally destroys the 90% of the country that is working, shopping, vacationing, rebuilding in relative peace.
I am sick of the crap these MSM pukes are feeding us. Fox is so popular because they are different, but only by inches not feet or yards.

It may be done b/c it's easy or convenient or cheap. Never confuse incompetence with evil and don't assume an agenda just because a particular behavior is observable. This was a case where the choice was fairly stark, the one you identify isn't, necessarily. I more than agree with the thought that we're being fed crap, however.
