There's just no way to know without hearing them, but I notice that the responses to New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagins', uh, indelicate remarks the other day on talk radio are here described as "rants." Now, they may well have been (and who am I to look down my nose at a good rant?) but isn't that a somewhat loaded term to appear in a straight news piece?
