I've been saying this repeatedly: it is simply false to assert that younger people aren't interested in the news, simply because they are rejecting traditional platforms. (By the way, I don't know how things are going where you live, but the Times circulation system has been completely abysmal around here lately. I've given up trying to deal with them over the phone, because they are unable or unwilling to do anything about it. Either you suck it up or you decide you don't want to get the Times in hard copy. I just gave up trying to use it in class -- so much for my system of introducing the younger generation to reading a newspaper they physically hold in their hands -- but it just became an exercise in absurdity. And while the people at the other end of the phone all swore up and down they cared, if they really cared they would have fixed the damn problem, don't you think?)
